The Kirovsky District Court of Irkutsk ordered the city administration to include 15 roads in the Slavnny microdistrict and the road between Slavnny and the Plishkinsky tract in the municipal property register. After that, the authorities will be responsible for their repair, maintenance, and public transport traffic organization. The decision was made on the prosecutor's lawsuit, and the administration has already said that work to include the roads in the register is underway.

By decision of the Kirovsky District Court of Irkutsk, the city administration is required to include 15 public roads in the Slyavny microdistrict in the municipal property register. The same applies to the road between the Slyavny microdistrict and the Plishkinsky Trakt.
The court reached this decision after considering a lawsuit filed by the prosecutor of Irkutsk’s Kuibyshevsky District. If the city administration does not appeal it, the roads must be included in the register no later than October 1 of this year.
From the moment the roads are accepted into municipal ownership, local self-government bodies will be obliged to carry out their repair and maintenance and organize public transport service.
At present, the condition of the roads in Slyavny does not meet the requirements, and the microdistrict area is not landscaped.
Note: On October 13, 2015, a similar decision, but in absentia, had already been made by the court; however, it was overturned at the request of the administration, which cited the impossibility of its participation in the court proceedings for valid reasons. As explained by the Irkutsk administration press service, work on including these roads in the municipal property register is already underway.
