Continuous driver checks will be carried out by traffic police officers on the roads during the holiday period, from March 5 to 8. As reported by the regional Interior Ministry’s press service, law enforcement officers will be "catching" drunk drivers.
On the roads, especially near places of mass recreation, the number of traffic police patrols will be increased. In addition to checking drivers for sobriety, traffic police officers will also check whether they are using seat belts and child restraint devices when transporting minors.
With irresponsible adults, inspectors will conduct preventive talks, and traffic violators will be held administratively liable.
