This issue was resolved at a meeting chaired by Vice Mayor Ivan Noskov.Last autumn, scheduled earthworks were carried out, and after that, it was impossible to restore the road surface in winter, the press service of the Irkutsk administration clarifies.
“These were planned works scheduled for the winter period, but we see the consequences. Therefore, a decision has been made, and it has been agreed with resource organizations, that all planned works will be carried out only in the summer period, so that there is an opportunity to restore the road surface before the cold weather,” Ivan Noskov reported.
A scheme for organizing vehicle traffic will be developed soon, and work on the improvement of the street will begin.
