Near Cape Kobyliya Golova, a Toyota Corolla found itself in open water while driving on the ice of Baikal along the shoreline at a distance of about 15 meters. Suddenly, the car began to sink beneath the ice. Fortunately, the passengers were able to get out of the vehicle. Emergency Situations employees transported the victims to a recreation center.
It is known that the depth at the site of the incident is 2 meters. The preliminary cause of the emergency is driving onto the ice outside of the ferry crossing.
