Irkutsk will celebrate its anniversary with a costumed procession. And this will be the first stage of the celebration of the 355th anniversary of the regional center.Organizers have already received 10 applications to participate. Applications are accepted until May 20.
The procession will begin on June 4 at 2:00 p.m. As in 2015, it will take place along Karl Marx Street: from the intersection of Frank-Kamenetsky Street to the monument to Alexander III. The jury will score the participants, taking into account the unified style of the column, the presence of three-dimensional figures or constructions, artistry, and the dynamics of movement.
- This year, the best teams will be selected in three categories: "Irkutsk: past, present, future", "Best organization" and "The most creative district of Irkutsk", - the city mayor's office press service reported.
