An special fire prevention regime will be introduced in Irkutsk from March 31 to April 14 of this year. As the Irkutsk city administration press service reported on March 30, during this period it is prohibited to light fires, burn garbage and industrial waste, use open flames, and carry out fire-hazardous work.
During the fire prevention regime, access for unauthorized persons to the basements and attics of residential buildings will be restricted, and community clean-up days will be held to remove garbage and dry grass. It is also planned to conduct daily inspections of the private sector and garden associations together with Ministry of Emergency Situations employees. For the fire-dangerous period, it is planned to organize 15 additional fire posts in the regional center for the rapid extinguishing of fires.
Note that in 2015 the fire prevention regime in Irkutsk came into effect on April 9, and across the region - on April 13.
We remind you that violations of fire safety requirements under a special fire prevention regime entail the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of 2,000 to 4,000 rubles; on officials - from 15,000 to 30,000 rubles; on legal entities - from 400,000 to 500,000 rubles.
