Approximately seven days from now, the weather will allow road workers to bring special equipment onto the city streets that will be able to cover large areas.This was reported by the director of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Irkutskavtodor," Mikhail Chaykovsky. According to him, currently only four machines designed for pothole repairs are operating on the streets of the regional center.
In recent days, such repairs have been carried out on the streets of Shiryamova, Timiryazeva, Baikal, Sedova, Favorovskogo, Kozhova, Kommunisticheskaya, Marata, Chkalova, Gavrilova, the bypass road near Zeleny microdistrict, as well as on the Glazkovsky Bridge.
This month, an asphalt concrete plant will begin operations, after which repairs using "small patches" will start on those sections that require urgent attention. This was reported by the press service of the Irkutsk administration.
