Sergey Levchenko ordered the ministry of economic development to review all investment projects in the region after it ranked second to last in investment attractiveness. The governor said the authorities must move the region into the top 30 for investment climate, and officials will be personally responsible for this task.

The head of the region, Sergei Levchenko, at the delivery of the annual address to the Legislative Assembly, which took place on April 14, instructed the Ministry of Economic Development to conduct an audit of all investment projects in the region.
According to the governor, the regional authorities must do everything possible to ensure that the region enters the top 30 in terms of investment climate.
— In the Agency for Strategic Initiatives ranking, we are in the second-to-last place in investment attractiveness. None of the previously announced projects is operating, and no one bears responsibility for this. And we need to enter the top 30 regions. Officials will bear personal responsibility for the implementation or non-implementation of this task, — Sergei Levchenko clarified.
