In the regional center, on May 9, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM, the retail sale of alcoholic beverages will be prohibited in places where festive events are held.The order was signed by the Deputy Mayor — Chair of the Committee on Social Policy and Culture of the Irkutsk Administration, Tatyana Edelman.
As reported by the press service of the mayor's office, the ban will affect stores located on Chkalov, Lenin, Rossiyskaya, Nizhnyaya Naberezhnaya, July 3, Sukhe-Bator, Rabochaya, December Events, Zhelyabov, Kalandarishvili, Vampilov 2/2, Academician Obraztsov, 30 (the area near the Locomotive Depot), Novatorov, 3 (the area near the gates of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant branch of OAO "Corporation" Irkut"), Rosa Luxemburg, 215 v. (the shopping center "EuroPark"), Aviastroiteley, 4-a, Karl Liebknecht, 245, Baikal, 247, in the Kirov Park, Gagarin Boulevard, and the square on Postyshev Boulevard.
