In Irkutsk, a truck driver fatally hit a 10-year-old child at a pedestrian crossing

The girl died before doctors arrived, and traffic inspectors are investigating the circumstances. The 40-year-old driver did not ensure there were no pedestrians before turning.

The 10-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries before the arrival of medical personnel.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Irkutsk region confirmed the information about the fatal incident involving the schoolgirl. According to the agency, the driver of the "MAZ" was a 40-year-old man who, without ensuring that there were no people at the crosswalk, began to turn from Lensky Street onto Napolnaya Street. Traffic accident inspectors are working at the scene to establish all the circumstances of the fatal accident.
