Law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall of a parachutist onto vacationers at one of the beaches in Irkutsk. Several people were injured.
The incident occurred at the Yakobi Bay of the Irkutsk Reservoir. Young people decided to try parasailing - flying on a parachute tethered to a moving vehicle. In this case, the parachutist was lifted while being attached to a boat. The "aviator" launched from the shore, outside the beach area.
According to eyewitnesses and the organizer of the attraction, a sudden strong gust of wind swept the parachutist towards the shore, directly onto the vacationers. As a result, the cable knocked three people to the ground. One girl sustained serious injuries - she has burns from the friction of the cable.
An investigation into the incident is underway. The organizers of the attraction do not deny their responsibility and are ready to cover the medical expenses of the injured party.
