In Irkutsk, several traffic restrictions will be introduced in the coming weeks and months due to utility work. From June 29 to August 28, a section of the Lower Embankment will be closed, and traffic on Deputatskaya and Bratskaya streets will be temporarily restricted due to cable line construction, heat network repairs, and pressure sewer installation.
From June 29 to August 28, a section of Nizhnyaya Naberezhnaya Street from the intersection with Franka-Kamenetskogo Street to Dekabrskikh Sobytiy Street will be closed. As reported by the city administration, the inconvenience is related to the construction of a new power cable line for the electrical grid.In addition, from June 24 to 30, traffic on Deputatskaya Street will be restricted from the building at 341b Shiryamova St. to the building at 311 Shiryamova St. Workers will be repairing the heating networks.
And from June 30 to July 19, passage along Bratskaya Street from Napolnaya Street to Barrikad Street will be closed. This is due to earthworks for laying a pressure sewer line.
