A picket of defrauded homebuyers of a house on Krasilnikov Street was held outside the city administration building. They have been unable to get construction completed for several years.

On Friday, March 13, a picket was held outside the city administration building. The equity holders of the residential building under construction on Krasilnikova Street have already despaired of resolving the situation peacefully.
According to the contracts concluded with LLC "Stroyka," construction of the block section was to have been completed in the 4th quarter of 2007, and the apartments were to have been handed over no later than the 2nd quarter of 2008. The cost of one square meter of living space at the time the contracts were concluded was 19,000–26,000 rubles per sq. m. The building was accredited by Sberbank, and the equity holders received mortgage loans. At present, 9 of the 10 floors have been built, and the construction company has not begun interior finishing. To resume construction, the developer is demanding that the equity holders pay an additional up to 5,000 rubles per sq. m, despite the fact that most clients made 100% prepayment.
The deceived equity holders have already appealed to the city administration, the prosecutor's office, and the court. But the matter still has not moved off dead center. The picket, they say, is a forced measure, an attempt to draw public attention to a problem they have been unable to solve on their own.
The management of LLC "Stroyka" refuses to comment on the situation.
