In the Irkutsk region, authorities are launching measures to stabilize food prices, organizing farm fairs, opening social stores, and developing weekend markets. Belorechenskoye was the first to join the experiment, and its mobile sales in Irkutsk attracted buyers with fresh products, minimal markup, and convenient shopping. The article explains how the new format works and why it is already ready to become regular.

Regional authorities have developed measures to stabilize food prices. Agricultural fairs will be organized throughout the region, and social stores will be opened - such stores already exist in Angarsk, Bratsk, Cheremkhovo, and Shelekhov. Soon they will appear in Irkutsk as well. In the regional center, "weekend markets" are already beginning to operate. The first to join the experiment were the people of Belorechye.
There is a line at the makeshift stall, just like in the good old days. The customer at the Central Market is demanding: there is plenty to choose from. And the people of Belorechye have something to offer. Dairy products, eggs, sausage products, semi-finished goods. For gardeners and vegetable growers - biohumus. The traveling trade is brisk. It is beneficial for the buyer: a minimal five percent markup, a guarantee of quality and freshness:
- If needed, I approve it, because it is very convenient to buy. Especially since this is Belorechye, which you trust.
- We buy eggs regularly. Milk and fresh sour cream. Everything is good, I like it. And the prices are much lower here.
The people of Belorechye were the first among agricultural producers to respond to the governor's proposal to organize traveling trade on weekends. By order, the Irkutsk city administration designated 30 sites for this in all districts of the city. Specialists from "Belorechensky" stood behind the counter together with the sellers. They traded directly from vehicles and portable stalls.
- Of course, it is quite a troublesome matter, but our enterprise is ready for any experiments, and we are ready to satisfy the demands of our customers, says Deputy Director of the Agricultural Joint-Stock Company "Belorechenskoye" Tatyana Pukhmakherova.
Such trade is also beneficial for the enterprise. In just one hour of work - a substantial revenue. At "Belorechenskoye," it has been decided to analyze the first experience and make these trips regular. Moreover, here they are awaiting proposals for organizing "weekend markets" from the heads of other cities and districts of the region.
