The Hong Kong Chinese company Zhenlong has expressed readiness to invest in restoring the Tulun glass factory, now in ruins. Tulun administration spent three years seeking an investor, and the project may now get a chance thanks to imported equipment and building materials. The city cannot invest its own funds, so local entrepreneurs and business leaders are invited to co invest.
The Chinese company “Zhenlong” (Hong Kong) has expressed a desire to invest in the Tulun glass plant. According to Tulun Mayor Viktor Piven, several years ago the Tulun plant was acquired by the company “Agrodorspetsstroy” of the Golyshev brothers, but it was unable to revive production. After that, the plant was sold again, this time in parts. The company “Zhenlong” is ready to invest funds in the supply of imported equipment and building materials for the plant’s restoration.- Today, on the site of the former glass plant there are ruins and wreckage, - said Viktor Piven, - and the city treasury has no funds to restore production. For three years, the Tulun administration has been working to attract an investor with the aim of reviving glass production. Information about this facility was posted on one of the federal portals, where enterprising Chinese noticed it.
Due to a lack of funds, the administration of Tulun cannot take part in the implementation of the project to restore the glass plant. However, entrepreneurs, heads of enterprises and organizations in the city may act as co-investors.
