In summer, free land plots will begin to be allocated in Irkutsk Region for several groups of citizens, veterans, disabled people, public institution workers, northern residents and large families. Under the new law, one can get 20 sotkas for a house or 50 hectares for farming, but only if the set conditions are met. Why the authorities are imposing these limits and who will get the land is in the report.
In the summer, free allocation of land plots will begin in the Irkutsk Region. This was reported by Yuri Faleychik, chairman of the committee on legislation on natural resource management, ecology, and agriculture of the regional parliament.According to the recently adopted regional law, land will be allocated into ownership to certain categories of citizens. These include veterans, disabled persons of groups 2 and 3, employees of state and municipal institutions, residents of northern territories, as well as large families with at least three minor children. In order to apply for such plots, it is mandatory to be on the waiting list for housing with local self-government bodies. Under the new law, 20 sotkas are allotted for building a house and 50 hectares for farming.
Yuri Faleychik stated that all municipalities must develop by June 1 a regulation on the procedure for the gratuitous allocation of land plots. And he emphasized that in order for the hectares to be used for their intended purpose, and not for the extraction of mineral resources, they will be provided on a conditional basis.
- Land plots for peasant farms should, of course, be given. But only to those who have worked on this plot for a long time. We have established a rule that ownership of this land can be obtained only by people who have cultivated this plot for 5 years.
