On April 26, a campaign in Irkutsk District will honor 105 veterans of the Great Patriotic War living there. Participants will visit each veteran at home with gifts, food packages, first aid kits, and concert performances, and present plaques and photo collages.

As of today, 105 veterans of the Great Patriotic War live in the Irkutsk District. An event to be held on April 26 will be devoted to caring for them.
On the eve of Victory Day, it is customary to honor veterans. This year will be no exception.
Participants in the event will visit every home where a veteran lives. Special gifts have been prepared for them: food packages and first-aid kits with the necessary medicines, and for the soul - concert performances. It is planned that a commemorative plaque with the inscription “A veteran lives here” will be attached to the veterans’ homes. In addition, the administration of the Irkutsk District has prepared a collage of photographs of the veterans, which will also be presented to them.
The event will be attended by the mayor of the Irkutsk District, Igor Naumov, his deputies, heads of the district administration’s structural divisions, heads of settlements, schoolchildren and teachers, and cultural workers.
