Today, the relevant amendments to the region’s main financial document were discussed at the budget committee by deputies of the Legislative Assembly. Practically the entire amount will be earmarked for a specific purpose - medicine supply. The final decision on how the additional funds received will be used will be made at the next session of the Legislative Assembly on February 18.
- 90% of the issues that were considered in the budget amendments are related to technical matters of bringing the regional budget law into line with the federal one, the changes that were adopted up to December 31, - says Acting Minister of Finance of the Irkutsk Region Tatyana Poronova.
- One of the issues raised today by the deputies is how things stand with budget provision in other subjects of the Siberian Federal District. The Ministry of Finance will carry out such an analysis, and we will receive it, - said Sergey Kurilov, chairman of the committee on budget, pricing, and financial and economic legislation of the Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk Region.
