The legendary band Agatha Christie announced the end of its music career on the eve of its 21st anniversary. Fans still have the farewell tour Epilogue, an album of the same name, and two big concerts in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, which will be the bands swan song. The musicians stress that this is not a pompous farewell, but the end of an important stage of their shared creative and human life.

The legendary band "Agatha Christie" is ceasing to exist. On the eve of the 21st anniversary of the famous rock band "Agatha Christie," its leaders, brothers Vadim and Gleb Samoylov, announced the end of their musical activity. According to the musicians, their musical project is "entering the stage of completion," they said this on the band's official website.
Farewell will not happen immediately. This year the band will go on a tour called "Epilogue," and will also record and release an album of the same name. The culmination of the tour will be major concerts in Moscow (February 21 at "B1 Maximum") and St. Petersburg (March 1 at the Yubileiny Sports Palace). These concerts will become the group's "swan song."
The musicians emphasize that "Epilogue" by "Agatha Christie" is not a pompous farewell to the fans: "It is simply a statement of the fact that we are ending a long and important period of our shared musical and human life. "Agatha Christie," in the form in which everyone knows it, has exhausted itself, and we want to say goodbye to it with a sense of mutual satisfaction."
In recent years, rumors that the musicians were planning to part ways have repeatedly appeared in the press; however, in the autumn of 2008 the band updated its lineup by inviting keyboardist Konstantin Bekrev and drummer Dmitry "Snake" Khakimov. Despite the fact that the musicians rehearsed a lot and, by their own account, played together wonderfully, the brothers themselves were unable to reach a compromise and made the final decision to go their separate ways.
