At yesterday's press conference, Alla Pugacheva unexpectedly said that after her anniversary tour of Russia and the CIS she would leave the stage forever. She cited health and voice problems, and plans to focus on radio, theater, and a memoir book. She also said she is preparing a response to her ex husbands who write memoirs about her, and sees this as her confession.

Yesterday’s major press conference by Alla Pugacheva turned out to be rich in revelations. Most journalists expected to hear from the Prima Donna about plans related to her upcoming anniversary concerts, but instead heard the news that the singer would leave the stage immediately after the anniversary tour of Russia and the CIS.
- I’m not going to kiss the stage goodbye; I’m simply ending my concert career as a singer, — Pugacheva told journalists. — The first reason is health: my heart doesn’t really allow me to travel back and forth on ships, planes, and other forms of transport. The second reason is that after a series of operations my voice has weakened and cannot express the feelings I would like it to express.
In a month Alla Pugacheva will turn 60. The singer hopes that the anniversary concert, which will take place on her birthday — April 15 in the Rossiya concert hall in Luzhniki, will fulfill all her wishes.
Pugacheva also plans to go on a major concert tour across Russia and the CIS. And after that, the Prima Donna will part with the stage forever.
The singer spoke about what she plans to do next.
"Alla Pugacheva the singer will leave the stage, but the time will come for another Alla Pugacheva, who has Radio Alla and theatrical work," she said.
In addition to radio and theater, in the near future Alla Borisovna wants to devote herself to writing. She plans to write a memoir book.
Alla Pugacheva is preparing a response to her ex-husbands.
"At some point all my ex-husbands suddenly started writing memoirs about me. I’ll probably have to somehow respond to the way they imagine life with me. I really didn’t want this, but I’ll gather my courage and still do it," she said.
According to Pugacheva, she also plans to include stories from her friends, close ones, and relatives in the book. The singer has already released the photo album "Alla Art," reflecting her career. "This album will remind people of what I was like and what I have become," the singer said. "It became my first attempt at wanting to confess. This is only the beginning."
At the end of the press conference, the singer admitted that she feels very happy. "I’m so happy that I managed to do so much in this life, see so many people, travel everywhere, give birth to a daughter, see my grandchildren. I’m even happy to be sitting at a press conference and seeing such interest from journalists and viewers in me," she said, adding that only troubles in the family could darken her mood.
