The May Day holidays in Irkutsk were bright and eventful, with performances by musicians, dancers, a beatboxer and traceurs, as well as awards for participants and winners. The article describes how the youth program brought together diverse creative and sports acts on one stage, and other city events on May 3, an athletics relay and the opening of Sunday Boulevard for older people.

The May Day holidays this year were bright and unforgettable for most residents of the city of Irkutsk, especially for young people.
Popular artists and creative groups took part in the program: the vocal-instrumental ensemble “Estrada” with songs from the 1990s, the show ballet “Ardis,” MC Zammer (Zammer), 4Got (FOgot), DJ Cherny, and the rock group “Planet Draiser.” The host of the program was Vyacheslav Shiryaev.
This year the event was a little more modest; hip-hop groups, the dance team "Shagi", sockers, and representatives of Irkutsk streetball performed. The one who impressed everyone most was the beatboxer Chekh, who managed to imitate, using only his mouth and a microphone, the famous melody from the film "The Adventures of Shurik" (you had to hear it). Perhaps the faint-hearted had no place here, since in addition to the announced participants, traceurs were invited onto the stage. The guys, without any safety equipment, jumped across the stage performing tricks unimaginable for an ordinary person. At the end of the event, the results were summed up, and the winners and participants were awarded. Well, many thanks to the organizers of the event - the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of the Irkutsk City Administration and the Student Union of Irkutsk State University.
On May 3 at 10:00, an athletics relay race for the prizes of the newspaper "Vostochno-Sibirskaya Pravda" started near the Drama Theater. And also on May 3 at 17:00, the first leisure evening for elderly people this year, "Sunday Boulevard," opened on Gagarin Boulevard.
