Ranetki go on a big tour of Russian cities from April to June 2009, and will perform in Irkutsk for the first time with the new album Our Time Has Come.

An incredible tour on a grand scale is being carried out by “Ranetki” from April to June 2009! Many cities are waiting for the girls again, and in Irkutsk the girl band will stop for the first time! Fans, storm the ticket offices and welcome the drive of live music in your city!!!
Since the group “Ranetki” first made itself known, not much time has passed, yet today the girls have something to be proud of: a soundtrack recorded for the TV series “Kadetstvo,” filming in the series of the same name, two albums (at the end of last year their album became one of the best-selling in Russia), the group became laureates of such prestigious competitions as “Five Stars” and “Eurosonik 2008,” etc. They unexpectedly shot to the peak of popularity in Russian show business. And having conquered the top lines in Russian hit parades, they turned their gaze to the Western audience, and now “Ranetki” have their own fan clubs in London, Mexico, and other countries around the world. And among the group’s friends are such famous Western showmen as Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Sting. The 18-year-old girls write the words and music of their songs together. And this is very high-quality music, in the style of Rolling Stones, Slade, Motorhead, and Aerosmith.
The songs of “Ranetki” are written by everyone together: any one of the members can come up with an original musical idea, which the whole group then works on – Natasha and Anya come up with guitar parts, Lera and Lena are responsible for the rhythm section, and Zhenya does the keyboard arrangement. The most prolific “ranetka” is Anya; she has many sketches of future songs.
The girls explain the choice of the group’s name simply: “Ranetki are small tasty apples, just like us! They ripen early and then remain on the apple tree branches for a long time until winter, which symbolizes our youth and long creative career!”.
In Irkutsk, “Ranetki” will arrive with a new album - “Our Time Has Come”!
The album will captivate not only with new energy and drive, solo compositions by almost all the girls, but also, most interestingly, with arrangements that will surprise the group’s fans very, very much! Any song has a claim to be a hit, no matter whether Lena sings it or Anya, or all together! In general ... it’s for you to listen, for you to judge!

We are an up-and-coming rock band. “On-Line”. The girls from Ranetki gave us an impetus to search for and develop our style. Their creative images inspire us to create new music!
