In Irkutsk, an unusual Brides Parade will be held for the first time, timed to City Day. On June 7, 52 girls in snow white dresses will ride through the central streets in limousines and walk by the monument to Alexander III. The participants will have work by designers, stylists and florists, then photo shoots in the most unexpected places, including Listvyanka and even a fire station. The organizers hope to make this bright show a good city tradition and hold it twice a year.

This bright event this year is timed to City Day. On June 7, girls dressed in snow-white dresses will make a splash in the city.
In the morning, the city’s best designers and stylists will turn the girls into real princesses, and florists will present them with beautiful bouquets. At 11:00, the brides will ride in luxurious limousines along the central streets, and at 13:00 they will take a walk near the monument to Alexander III. They will be accompanied everywhere by a crowd of photographers and cameramen. Then the beauties will go to Listvyanka, where they will capture themselves against the backdrop of Lake Baikal and have a great time in a restaurant.
- You see, similar shows have already been held in other Russian cities, - said the event organizer Evgeny Pulman. - The idea first appeared in Moscow. Are we any worse? Besides, this event is very colorful, bright, and fun. For the girls, it’s a unique chance to feel like a princess and a bride again, to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of celebration. By the way, we plan for the parade to become a good tradition of our city. And we will hold it twice a year - in spring and autumn.
According to the organizers, there were no strict criteria for selecting the parade participants. The main thing was a wedding dress and the desire. But out of 120 applicants, only half had to be chosen.
- In no city have so many brides gathered! - Evgeny adds with a smile. - At the end of June, in the Planetary shopping center, we plan to organize a photo exhibition from our parade.
However, the organizers of the show are not revealing all the secrets. They only admitted that the girls will be photographed even at the fire station and... even against the backdrop of rare airplanes. So the participants will have plenty of impressions and good emotions!
