In Irkutsk, the Sukachev Regional Art Museum will open the Days of Russian German Culture and Education. The project, organized by IrGTU and the German Academic Exchange Service with support from regional and city authorities, will bring together representatives of culture and diplomacy. Guests will see the photo exhibition Modern Germany and a performance by a children's symphony orchestra.
Today at 10:00 a.m., the opening of the “Days of Russian-German Culture and Education” in Irkutsk will take place at the Sukachev Regional Art Museum.The project organizers are Irkutsk State Technical University and the German Academic Exchange Service, with the support of the government of the Irkutsk Region, the administration of the city of Irkutsk, and the Embassy of Germany in Russia.
The event will be attended by the Minister of Culture and Archives of the Irkutsk Region, Vitaly Baryshnikov; Deputy Mayor, Chair of the Committee on Social Policy and Culture of the Irkutsk city administration, Valentina Voblikova; and the Head of the Department of Economy, Culture and Administration of the German Consulate General in Novosibirsk, Katharine Hesse. There will also be a viewing of the photo exhibition “Modern Germany” and a performance by the children’s symphony orchestra.
