The Governor of Irkutsk Region awarded the title of Regional Competition Laureate to 11 teams of scientists, research organizations and universities of the Angara region for the 2011 science and technology contest. Winners include authors of developments that made a major contribution to science and solving the regions socioeconomic problems, and young scientists with the best innovative projects. Laureates will receive cash prizes of 100 thousand rubles.
The Governor of the Irkutsk Region signed an order awarding the title of “Laureate of the Regional Competition” to 11 teams of scientists, research organizations, and higher education institutions of the Angara region based on the results of the competition in science and technology for 2011.In the nomination “For a Significant Contribution to the Development of Science and Technology and the Solution of the Region’s Socio-Economic Problems,” 7 teams were winners. The title of laureates of the competition in the nomination “For the Best Scientific, Scientific-Technical, and Innovative Developments by Young Scientists” was awarded to 4 teams. As a reminder, in May 2012 the head of the region signed a decree under which the competition laureates are awarded cash prizes of one hundred thousand rubles.
The regional competition in science and technology is held to identify the most relevant scientific, technical, and innovative research and developments that have received public recognition for solving the socio-economic problems of the Irkutsk Region. The competition identifies the best developments by scientists or teams of scientists submitted by research organizations or higher education institutions of the Angara region.
