In Irkutsks Right Bank district, utility networks and housing stock are being actively prepared for the heating season. Work on heat, sewer and water supply networks, as well as on some elevator units, has already been completed. Notable results include improved hot water supply in the building at 7 2 Schedrina and connecting the building at 7 b Lyzina to the central sewer system. In addition, major roof and stove repairs continue in the district, and some work is planned to be finished before the heating season begins.

A large volume of work in the territory of the Pravoberezhny District is being carried out to prepare engineering networks and utilities for the heating season at budget expense. The action plan was drawn up taking into account the proposals of management companies, the accident rate of facilities, and monitoring of the condition of the infrastructure. At present, work has been completed to replace a transit section of the heating network in the basement of the building at 7 Udarnik St. Emergency sections of the sewer networks of the buildings at 73 Sovetskaya St. and 3 Aeroflotskaya St. have been replaced, and a contract has been signed for work at 121a Sovetskaya St. There are still 6 more addresses in the plan. Design work has been completed for the installation of sewer networks at 7b Lyzina St. This building will be connected to centralized sewer networks.
Repairs are being carried out on group standalone elevator units and the premises where they are located. 4 facilities have already been completed, and 6 are in progress.
The situation with hot water supply has changed in the building at 7/2 Shchedrina St., whose residents complained last year about the low temperature. Work has been carried out there to install a heat exchanger on the hot water supply network. Plans include emergency restoration work on cold water supply networks at 21 Baikalskaya St.
As employees of the housing department of the administration of the Pravoberezhny District note, all planned work on heating networks in residential buildings will be completed before the start of the heating season, while work on sewer and cold water supply networks will continue until November.
It should be noted that budget funds are allocated for the repair of emergency and ownerless networks, as well as for the repair of engineering networks where a large amount of spending is required.
The main part of the work to prepare housing for the heating season is carried out by management companies, housing construction cooperatives, and homeowners’ associations, and is funded through rent payments.
In addition, under the housing capital repair program, repairs to 36 roofs of apartment buildings were planned in the district. 26 of them have already been handed over to the customer. It is also planned to repair 8 stoves in municipal unfurnished apartments.
