In the Siberian Federal District, special sections have been created on prosecutors websites, through which citizens can report unpaid wages and learn how to protect their rights. More than 200 complaints have already been received, checks are being carried out on each, and measures are being taken to restore workers violated rights. The prosecutor's office intends to further improve mechanisms for identifying dishonest employers and hidden debtors.

In order to identify employers who fail to fulfill their obligation to pay wages, as well as to promptly restore workers’ rights, on the initiative of the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District, special sections have been created on the websites of the prosecutors’ offices of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. They allow citizens not only to promptly report such violations to the prosecutor’s office, but also to obtain information about employers’ liability, ways to protect violated rights, and more.
Since the launch of such sections, 39 complaints have been received by the prosecutor’s office of the Irkutsk Region and 45 by the prosecutor’s office of the Novosibirsk Region. In total, more than 200 citizens have applied to the prosecutor’s offices of the Siberian Federal District, and an appropriate inspection has been organized for each of them, with measures taken to genuinely restore the violated rights.
The mechanisms for identifying hidden debtors and combating unscrupulous employers will continue to be improved by the prosecutor’s offices in the Siberian Federal District.
