In Irkutsk, a contractor was selected to install 42 children's and sports playgrounds in different districts of the city. The repeated auction was won by the Krasnoyarsk company Yumags, which will equip play complexes, two sports grounds and a roller rink, and some concrete work will be postponed until spring. 22.5 million rubles are allocated for this in the city budget for 2012.
The auction for the installation of children’s and sports playgrounds in Irkutsk took place on September 28. The winner was the Krasnoyarsk company “Yumags.” It will be responsible for equipping 42 playgrounds, including: nine playgrounds each in the Leninsky and Oktyabrsky districts; 16 in the Sverdlovsky district; and eight in the Pravoberezhny district. Two will be sports facilities—with a tennis table, a basketball court, and special play equipment (addresses: Rozhdestvenskaya, 70 and M. Koneva, 42-44); one roller-skating rink will be built (Zhukov Ave., 11), and the rest will be children’s play complexes for different age groups. In 2012, the Irkutsk budget allocated 22,500 thousand rubles for the construction, improvement, maintenance, and repair of children’s and sports playgrounds.
The first auction for carrying out work on equipping children’s and sports playgrounds was held on June 28, 2012. Four organizations submitted applications for it, but none of the companies came to the auction itself. The auction was declared invalid.
As a result of the repeated bidding, three organizations were admitted to the auction, and the Krasnoyarsk company won with a contract amount of 17,412 thousand rubles. The contractor will begin the work in a week.
The completion deadline is December 24, 2012. As commented by Andrey Abramchik, head of the Department of Road Management, Improvement, and Transport of the Housing and Utilities Committee of the Irkutsk city administration, those works that cannot be carried out in cold weather due to technical requirements will be postponed until spring. This mainly concerns concreting.
