Irkutsk administration invites residents to take part in the annual Public Initiatives Fair, a platform for cooperation between residents, business and local authorities to solve socially important city problems. Participants can present projects aimed at improving quality of life, beautification and creating a comfortable urban environment, and applications are accepted until October 10, 2012. Introductory seminars are also organized for applicants, where they will help prepare slide and public presentations of the project.
The Administration of the City of Irkutsk invites all active residents to take part in the annual Fair of Public Initiatives. The Fair is a tool for cooperation between the residents of Irkutsk, representatives of the business community, and local self-government bodies to address socially significant problems in Irkutsk. Its main goal is to find funds and opportunities for implementing projects aimed at improving the quality of life of Irkutsk residents, enhancing the city, and creating a comfortable urban environment. Within the framework of the Fair, projects from socio-political associations (parties) and religious organizations are not considered, as well as projects related to travel expenses, publishing activities, and the provision of medical and other targeted assistance to city residents.Applications are accepted until October 10, 2012, by email: msv@irkadm.ru
To assist applicants, a series of orientation seminars has been organized, which will be held at the Administration of the City of Irkutsk (14 Marata St.).

Applicants’ participation in the seminars is taken into account by the members of the Commission for selecting applications for the Fair.
