In Irkutsk, the first one day sculpture festival Art ended. The grand prize went to the art studio Taburetka with the composition Carrot, voted for by 1097 residents.
The awards ceremony for the winners of the one-day sculpture festival “Art” took place in the Committee on Urban Planning Policy. The festival’s grand prize was won by the art studio “Taburetka” with the composition “Carrot.” It received 1,097 votes from Irkutsk residents. Second place went to the sculpture “Ogo-go” (raspberry), DPI-07 of the Department of Design at IISGN NI IrGTU (848 votes). In third place was the installation “Breath of Baikal” by the SAPEU College (710 votes). All participants received letters of appreciation from the Committee on Urban Planning Policy of the Irkutsk City Administration and commemorative gifts.As a reminder, the one-day sculpture festival “Art” was held in Irkutsk for the first time. Nine organizations took part in it, presenting 27 figures and installations for the people of Irkutsk to judge. Photos of the works were posted on the city administration’s website for public voting.
The event organizers, the Department of Architecture and Urban Environment Design of the Irkutsk City Administration, are planning to continue the festival next summer.
