In Irkutsk, in block 106, they plan to recreate the historic manor development of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Over five years, four heritage sites will be restored, assessed and examined, with 147.2 million rubles allocated.

The historic manor development of the late 18th and early 19th centuries will be recreated in Block 106 of Irkutsk, located within the boundaries of Timiryazev Street, Dekabrskikh Sobytiy Street, Friedrich Engels Street, and Oktyabrskoy Revolyutsii Street.
Restoration work will be carried out as part of the long-term target program “Preservation of Cultural Heritage Sites of the City of Irkutsk for 2013-2017.” In total, 4 sites are planned to be restored over 5 years. In addition, the program includes a historical and cultural assessment of the sites and their state historical and cultural expert review.
As Deputy Mayor, Chairman of the Committee on Urban Planning Policy of the Irkutsk administration Yevgeny Devochkin said, carrying out these procedures is necessary to make a decision on including (or excluding) these cultural heritage sites in the unified state register of monuments of history and culture.
Over five years, 147.2 million rubles are planned to be allocated from the Irkutsk budget for the implementation of the program.
As a reminder, the block currently contains the Shastin revenue house (also known as the “lace house”), the Greenberg estate, and the Polkanov house. In 2011, the reconstruction of residential building No. 77 on Dekabrskikh Sobytiy Street was completed.
