About 500 people were evacuated from the Caramel shopping center because of the actions of a fake terrorist

In Irkutsk about 500 people were evacuated from the Karamel shopping and entertainment center after a report of a planted explosive device. The building was thoroughly checked by OMON bomb experts with dogs and special equipment, but no dangerous items were found. The teenager who reported the bomb was detained. He admitted he just wanted to joke.

Officers of the PPS, private security, and the traffic police who arrived at the scene evacuated about 500 people from the building. After that, OMON bomb technicians carried out a thorough inspection of the center using service dogs and special equipment. No explosive device was found.
The young man who reported the planted explosive device was identified and detained. When asked what goal he was pursuing, the teenager explained that he had simply wanted to joke.
The Irkutsk police express gratitude to the security staff of the Karamel shopping and entertainment center, who took the information they received with full seriousness and immediately informed law enforcement agencies, and handed over the possible instigator of the commotion to investigators.
