A consolidated unit of police officers from the Angara region has departed on a long-term service deployment to the Republic of Dagestan.
Over the course of six months, the Irkutsk law enforcement officers will have to carry out a difficult work shift. Such deployments to the North Caucasus are an integral part of the service of our fellow countrymen, however, the police are heading to the city of Kizlyar for the first time.
Officers from units of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Irkutsk Region have repeatedly proven in practice that they are capable of coping with difficulties and solving tasks of any complexity in ensuring the safety of citizens. As in previous deployments to the neighboring Chechen Republic, they will have to maintain public order in the territory of Dagestan, as well as assist employees of the republic’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Seeing off the officers, the head of the Main Police Directorate of the region, Andrey Kalishchuk, drew attention to personal discipline and a sense of teamwork in carrying out responsible tasks and demanded that they be serious-minded and doubly vigilant in the conditions of a difficult operational situation.
At the gates of the cargo airport, the police were seen off by relatives, friends, and colleagues. At the aircraft stairs, the officers heard the now traditional order to return alive and well.
