The shooting on the road was the result of a quarrel between two motorists in Irkutsk

In Irkutsk, a road dispute between drivers ended in gunfire, the Hyundai driver fired three times at his opponent with a traumatic weapon and fled, and the victim was hospitalized. The shooter was quickly identified, and he said he acted in self defense because he was attacked and his daughter was in the car. Police ask witnesses to help establish all the circumstances of the incident.

Presumably, the drivers failed to share the road. During the conflict, the person behind the wheel of the Hyundai fired three shots from a non-lethal weapon at a man, after which he fled the scene. The victim has been hospitalized.
Within half an hour, the identity of the shooter was established. According to the latest information, he intends to turn himself in to the police voluntarily in order to ask for a legal assessment of what happened. According to the Hyundai driver, he used the weapon in self-defense, since the man attacked him with his fists. He also explained his behavior by saying that his daughter was in the foreign-made car with him.
In the near future, police officers will have to give an objective assessment of what happened. At the same time, invaluable assistance can be provided by witnesses and bystanders to the road conflict.
