Free walks “Literary Irkutsk”, “Merchant Irkutsk” and “Irkutsk by Night” for Tourism Day

On 25 September the city Tourist Information Service held three free walking tours.

On 25 September 2026, World Tourism Day, the Irkutsk Tourist Information Service held three free walking tours:

• “Literary Irkutsk”, 11:00 — about writers connected with the city, for the centenary of Mark Sergeev; meeting point at the service’s building, 26 Sedova Street;
• “Merchant Irkutsk”, 11:00 — about Siberian enterprise and merchant architecture; starting at the model of the city in Kirov Square;
• “Irkutsk by Night”, 19:00 — through the historic centre with the illuminated façades of old mansions; starting at the monument to Alexander III.

Groups were limited and prior booking was required: +7 (3952) 20-50-18, 48-85-43.
