The new museum has opened next to the Ferris wheel. The village is being developed in a single eco-friendly style until 2030.
On 3 July 2025 a visiting session of the Legislative Assembly’s tourism council was held in Listvyanka. The head of Listvyanka, Maxim Maximov, said that an interactive museum devoted to Baikal had opened next to the Ferris wheel; the deputies visited it during their trip.
The meeting also discussed the development of the village. A viewing platform was built with charitable foundation money by the obelisk to the playwright Alexander Vampilov, and Gorkogo Street along the shore has been repaired. The development of Listvyanka up to 2030 is divided into three stages: the look of the village is to follow a single eco-friendly style, and the piers are to be rebuilt for cruise tourism.
