In the Irkutsk region, complaints from citizens on the website will be automatically sent to the agencies actually responsible for resolving the specific issue. This should shorten review times and reduce the risk they are lost or left unanswered. The material also gives examples of where to turn for different problems, from broken asphalt to rusty water and inflated utility rates.
– Most complaints are sent by citizens not to the agencies needed to resolve the issue. This complicates the process and delays the time, – Denis Voronov noted. – On the website, complaints in all categories are generated and sent to the supervisory authorities within whose competence they should be considered. For example, if the asphalt is damaged, entrances are not cleaned – that is the competence of municipal control; if rusty water is flowing from the pipes, noise from equipment installed in non-residential premises – that is the competence of Rospotrebnadzor; inflated utility rates – that is the competence of the tariff service, and so on.According to Denis Voronov, the transfer of appeals to federal bodies, to executive authorities at the regional and municipal levels, will take place automatically with mandatory acknowledgment of receipt. This will make it possible to avoid situations in which citizens’ appeals are lost or remain unconsidered.
