In the course of a week, 142 questions were received by the public transport hotline. Most of them—102 complaints—concerned bus service, while 30 complaints contained general questions about public transport operations. Irkutsk residents complain least about electric transport: six were dissatisfied with trolleybuses, and four with trams.
General questions were related to the organization of transport movement (absence in the evening, relocation of stops, etc.)—21 callers pointed this out. Four complaints were related to the poor sanitary condition of public transport. Irkutsk residents also spoke about fares: two believe they should remain at the current level, and two believe they should be increased.
Several complaints concerned electronic tickets—the system malfunctions, which causes dissatisfaction among passengers.
One of the callers suggested increasing the fare on trams to 15 rubles, provided that the quality of service is improved.
