After a fire, the wooden house on Trilissera Street was rebuilt from measurements, from the foundations to the roof.
The Nemuzey (“Not a Museum”) coffee shop has opened in a wooden house from the 1880s restored under the direction of Tatyana Fomina. Before it was bought, the building had been badly damaged by fire. The restorers measured what was left of it and rebuilt the foundations, walls, roof and other elements, and connected utilities. Carpenters and carvers recreated the window frames, shutters and the pierced decoration of the gables.
