The platform above the cliff at the entrance to Listvyanka was built with sponsors’ money for the village’s 300th anniversary.
A new viewing platform has opened at the memorial stone to the playwright Alexander Vampilov at the entrance to Listvyanka. It was built above the cliff on piles: a metal structure with railings, benches and lighting has enlarged the memorial area and made it safer for visitors.
The platform was built with sponsors’ money on the initiative of local businesspeople through the Listvyanka Village Improvement Fund, with the support of the regional government and the administrations of Irkutsk District and Listvyanka. It opened for the village’s 300th anniversary.
